Busy, busy puppy...

Wow, was Christmas ever busy!!! House-training is coming along slowly and surely, but with all of the hustle and bustle I had a couple of accidents. But that's what happens when it's your first Christmas with all of the excitement.

My little pads on my little paws are quite sensitive. I don't like to be out in the cold for too long in the chilly weather. Next year I'm asking for booties for Christmas.

I love to hang out on the giant dog pillow with my sister Luna. Sometimes we cuddle and sleep together on it, sometimes it acts as a wrestling mat. Do you see how nice I'm sharing the toys with her?
I love my foster dad's feet. I like the way they smell so I snuggle up really close to them. I love to cuddle and I hope I can find a forever family that likes to cuddle too.
Love Matsu.

Coming out of my shell...

Hello everyone and happy Howlidays. Luna and I have switched to a new foster home. This one has two resident dogs and a cat.

I found two new things I love a lot. I love bum scratches from my foster dad - he's the best. The second is bugging Luna when she has a toy. Aren't sisters great?

I'm fully crate trained now and still working hard on the house-training (I've been accident free for awhile now).

I still like to follow in Luna's pawsteps, but I've really started to come out of my shell. Now when human visitors come to the house I go right up to them without being shy.
Check back in - I'm sure I'll have lots more to say soon.
Love Matsu.

Time for an update!!!

Wow - more big changes for me. My sister Luna and I have moved out of Misty Creek and into a foster home! Yippee! I'm a friendly little girl - but a little more cautious than my outgoing sister Luna. But that doesn't stop me from loving my cuddles and my pets (and toys!!)

I'm starting to learn what crate training and house training is - boy there is a lot to learn about being in a house.

I have discovered two archenemies since I arrived at the house. The first is a 'collar'. I find this device maddening and have tried everything in my power to remove it. I even tried to convince Luna to take it off for me. No luck!

Here is a photo of me with my second archenemy- the stairs.

I finally had a breakthrough with the stairs and can now go up AND down them (though Luna likes to rub it in that she was able to do that DAYS ago - pooh!)

My foster mom likes our colouring, she says the black around our necks makes it look like we're wearing necklaces - and the markings around our eyes makes it look like we're wearing goggles.

If you want to come and check out just how cute we are, please contact Misty Creek to come and visit Luna and I.

*wiggles for now*

Introducing Matsu...

Greetings everyone! My name is Matsu - and I'm a furry brown female mixed breed puppy at Misty Creek. I'm likely going to be a medium sized dog once I grow up.

I was named after a sea goddess that protects people around bodies of water. I guess Misty Creek believes that I have future water-dog potential, maybe I can protect those sticks that you two-leggers throw into the lake.

I'm still quite young, I was born August 17th, but I am very friendly. I have lots to learn while growing up - as all puppies do.

Well, that's about it for now. I have lots more puppy exploring to do. Please contact Misty Creek if you'd like to meet me.
